another "limited edition" that will never see the light of day for ordinary buyers
Update - though I've no hard evidence to provide here - someone reliable has told me that some will likely be available for purchase, even if a limited edition - so felt compelled to correct my cynical statement above with this update insight.
It looks stunning, I have to say!

Good question! It shouldn't be.Broadwave wrote:How on Earth is the MiniKorg FS more expensive than the 2600M?

Korg is going for collectors items it seems more than useful.
But think really replicating these items also give knowhow for all new products and some buzz for sure.
Nobody is close to Korg these days, I think.

MIDI gear: Sequential REV2.16, Prologue-8, Hammond XK-3C, Kawai MP7SE piano, Nord Lead 2X, Roland D-05
but if you are collector...
It will flash around all your synths...
Music makes me feel truly alive!

I'm just glad I don't need one. I have a Minikorg 700 that I bought in 1973. At least I think that's when I bought it. It says Univox on the wood panel top to the left of the keyboard.
