separating effects for different tracks in sequence mode
it seems like effects are popping up by default in tracks I don't want them to be on.
example I will put delay on voice track and then hear it on drum track.
best reference for keeping effects unique to each channel?
Thanks, Dean

If you go to the IFX tab, you can send individual channels to specific effects. You first route the channel to an FX slot, (1 to 12) select the FX and adjust.
If you use the MFX/TFX then those can be applied to any or all tracks.
Much more detail is available in the operators guide under Using Effects.

Thank you Mr. Geo
I need to focus on my routing paths through all these menus better.
Well worth it. I am primarily a guitarist. So I have been building songs from a simple motive beat, then adding audio tracks and then Kronos drums and sound icing.
I shopped for a long time to find the one unit that could do it all.
This is indeed the dream machine!
If there is anyone in the SF East Bay that has a reasonable price for some one on one instruction. Let me know.
Emphasis on file management, sequence mode, stereo mix down etc.

Hi Deanbowlus,
In addition to Geoelectro's information, the delay heard on the drum track can be caused by the use of the DKit check mark on the drum track which uses several IFX by default (example IFX1 for snares, IFX2 for kicks .. .).
I guess in your case, there’s a good chance that the tick should be checked.
I hope I have been helpful.
Fred

I'm still kind of flummoxed.
Example. I put a couple of vocal harmonies down and send it to it's own IFX channel, say a light flange effect.
I then hear the flanger on a guitar channel. I go to the guitar channel and see all the guitar effects, plus the new effect I put on the voices.
I'm missing something to keep the effects separated.
Thanks,
Dean
