Volca Beats with Behringer FCB1010 MIDI foot controller??

Hello!

I'm new to the world of MIDI and I'm trying to learn about commands and such but it's fair to say I'm well out of my depth.

I'm looking to start and stop beats I've saved with a midi foot controller. From my research it seems the Behringer FCB1010 is my only potential option. I thought I'd post on here to check that this is going to be possible before I spend 85 quid and have my hopes crushed.

If it's going to be possible do you have any advice on how to programme such a thing? And what else i might be able to control with the 9 spare buttons??
