Microkorg Sq1 midi issue

Hi

I'm trying to get my SQ1 and Microkorg to sync. No luck. I've actually tried this on the original Microkorg and an XL+, nothing.

I'm fairly new to this so I might be doing something stupid! The out cable is from the SQ1 midi out going to midi in on the microkorg.
