Hi all,
I have had my EK50 for about 6 months and I am really enjoying it. I decided to plug it into my computer to use as a midi keyboard controller but can’t get either Reaper or Ableton Live Lite to recognize it. Here is what I have already done:
I downloaded and installed the midi driver software from the Korg website.
In the EK50 settings I changed Midi Clock to external and turned Local sound to off. (I can’t remember for sure what this was called but it had the word local in the setting.)
In the Windows 10 device manager I can see a listing for the Korg EK50 as an audio device with a little speaker icon next to it. It looks like Windows is recognizing the EK50 as an audio device, not a midi device.
Can anyone suggest something else to try?

Thanks Mitzie but I found another solution that didn't involve going through additional software.
