Painting the jog wheel

Post by tenohtwo »

Has anyone here painted their jog wheel to make it stand out on the Kronos? I have been debating buying a can of Testors Spray Enamel and spraying the jog wheel with 1290T Chrome Gloss, to accent the wheel. I have not modded my Kronos 2 at all since buying it in 2015, but always felt that the surface could have more contrasting colors on the controls, instead of the mostly-black on black controls.

Just curious! :)

No, I haven’t. But can’t see why it wouldn’t work. You’d probably want to get something that’s a hard wearing finish though. Not user how those metallic foil type finishes wear over time.

You’ll probably want to use a plastic primer beforehand too I suspect. And also ensure it’s free from dust.

Might also we worth just making sure you’ve got a spare too, in case you don’t like the results.
