Hi Fellas,
at one time wasn't there a discussion about Terrific setting for Maax volume? Can anyone refer me?
Thanks

Hi Frank
Yes there was and this is what I remember. Korg1 gave some valuable settings that I tried. Here is my reply and thanks to Korg1 plus his settings. Dates of posts are included.

Korg1 settings have transformed my Pa4x. I found out today just how great it can sound. I have other settings like Johnyblues as you will see from my old posts. But these settings from Korg1 are on a different planet. Clear, crisp, louder, struggling to find words to say how chuffed I am at the moment.

Jonyblues settings are ok as long as you use it at home or with Johny's PA system plus his styles.
If you use it with another PA system,with your own styles etc, it might not sound good .
Depending the dynamics that your styles have ,your Maxx audio settings should be adjusted.
If you want all styles,factory or user to work well and clean,then
only solution is to use an analyzer software or hardware and adjust the MAXXaudio settings so you can clean all mid freq,and have an overall nice sound on any PA system you use .
TRY THIS SETTINGS AS A START :
EQ:
IN=BELL OUT=BELL
GAIN: 0.3 | 1.1 |-3.1 | 00 | 00 |0.3 |0.8 |
FREQ: 51 | 81 |304 |645 |2734|7298|10321|
Q :1.98| 1.19|2.62|0.88|1.02| 1.33| 0.43 |
on/off:ON | ON | ON | ON | ON | ON | ON |
MASTER:
BASS=20.5 ,TREBLE=1.6,STEREO=37=VOLUME=7.5
Other posters reported back too, they were well pleased. Good luck.

I think what you play through has a massive impact on what Maxx settings are optimal, and also where you are playing.
A TOTL PA? Cheap computer monitors? A stick and sub system? Studio monitors?
A heavily carpeted living room with tons of soft furniture? A dingy restaurant with tons of glass and tile? Outdoors?
No one setting is going to cover all that.
And lastly, be aware that as we get older, our hearing rolls off the highs. Before you crank up the brightness, double check with someone who’s ears you trust to come in and give an initial listen (before his ears close down because of the volume). I’ve got an elderly friend who plays a PA4X in a glass and tile bar and even with my hearing loss, it’s painful to sit there for an hour or two!
You can learn a lot switching back and forth repeatedly between the arranger and a well recorded CD through the same speakers (be careful to match volumes closely). Don’t be surprised to find that you may have got a much harsher sound if you aren’t careful with your Maxx…
