I'm about to bring my Krome 88 in for repairs for the 3rd time in the last 5 or so years. It's the same problem each time. A few keys sustaining unusually long and playing unusually loudly. The problematic keys are usually in the lower register. Each of the past 2 times, the Chicago-based repair shop, Deltronics, (who BTW are really great) needed to replace the affected keys and keystrips. They said a variety of things could cause this issue but mainly dust. So I've made sure to cover the keyboard when not in use. I rarely ever take the Krome out to gig as I usually just play in my apartment. Really at wits end to the point. It’s really become quite expensive and not very time efficient to keep having it repaired like this.
Any advice you can share would be appreciated.
