- Just basic ADSR envelopes. Everybody hates that.
- It has no TX/SY/OPL waves
- mono timbre
- only 3 octave keyboard
- very cheap keybed
- compressor effect is ehm - not very typical
- USB doesn't work on most computers
- Typical KORG support - NONE

OPSIX is totally awesome
I created over 200 very inspiring sounds. Its very easy to use synth and can create rare FM sounds.

Yeah, let's spread some positive sounds on this board!
Regarding the TX waveforms, you can achieve that by adding an effect operator to a sine. All equipment is currently boxed here due to construction, so I can't check nor that I exactly know how to do it. There were some filters that "only let through the first half of a sine" and "inverts the second half of a sine". Using that, you can make the boobs waveform. Takes two operators though.
In the end I just bought a TX81Z next to it. The FM love here is big enough, some expansion didn't hurt anyway.
