It’s a nice Keyboard, but hardly anything KORG or Yamaha will worry about.
I can't see how this is any different than an existing MPC with a Midi Controller. I've watched video's where they explain, but I've yet to see any real difference.

The only thing it has going for it over a regular MPC is you get all the plug-ins preloaded, where an existing MPC user would have to buy them as add-ons. So, if I was going to buy a new MPC, it would maybe be better value to go with the Keys, but you would have less flexibility and connectivity vs an MPC X which costs slightly less.

Korg has everything ready to do the same and even better

Is enough to upgrade the Kronos hardware and expand the sound engines with native software of opsix and wavestate, include the other software as option that everyone can buy if they need

Probably they are just waiting the moment to release a new flagship workstation

OASYS and Kronos introduced the concept of "platform workstation" Roland and akai followed and expanded the concept

Hi,

I would buy an Oasys 2. I would want Oasys build quality and all the knobs and sliders. Vector js etc. . 64bit os. Running linux based os. Plenty of ram and Ssd with at least 512gb capacity. Plus user expandable second ssd. 13 inch tilting touch screen and ability to plug in a monitor. Ability to run third party vst's natively. I would add wavestate native, opsix and triton extreme etc.

I could ditch the computer. 73 note synth keyboard option and a better quality 88note piano action than the RH3. Like Roland pha5. All actions with aftertouch. This would be my perfect synth. What have i missed? Printed manuals.

Price ? Moog one territory? But worth paying for and more fun than a car. :-)

Cheers

Something like that would raise my eyebrows too.

Biggest mystery is why Nautilus did not have video out like PA-series had for ever. Newest PA700 and PA1000 even as hdmi, PA4X as rca composite video as I recall.

Something that would make you sit a full day recording size of screen or at least video out for it.

I have an old laptop from 2009, that is only 1336x720p or something internally but can run 1080p on hdmi out, with dimmed internal display then.

With a decent gpu inside a workstation could do that too.

Even a Korg only addon display to make it comfy would work.

I just bought a couple of touch pad, Perixx Peripad, for my stationary computer too, instead of mouse. The new touch pads with gestures is even better than touch screen, to rest hand on table and just move fingers a little you do everything instead of lifting arm to a tilted screen. And much smoother than mouse.

So IMO normal display and a modern touch pad is way better than touch screen.

If 32 audio tracks it would be a nobrainer even to replace daw. But double din midi out as MPC Keys to sequence external gear too.

One can wish in the heat of this summer, can't we....

with a synthesiser control surface: OSC Knobs, Filter knobs, ADSR sliders etc. Plus knobs for effects. Large touch screen for sure. Get rid of RH3, it's primitive in comparison to Roland's Fantom 8 keyed. Also add Arp 2600 software.
Yeah, increase the price for sure.

Vas.

This might be what you refer to then:
https://medeli.eu/products/keyboards/ak ... ation.html

Better display than Pa5X?
- 7" not tilted

Better memory?
- 768 MB for samples
- 128 G external can be connected to usb

Good value for money, but is it more like Korg PA1000 or something?
https://www.korg.com/se/products/synthesizers/pa1000/
- 600 MB for samples compressed

Korg seems to cost twice though, but haven't checked every part of specs.
I saw prices €1000 just about on AKX10.

this is a good keyboard , no it does not sound like a bosendorfer or yamaha grand ... but its real good..and for the money .. it great .. and it recoard audio usb and more ...
the medeli AKX10 is not as good as the pa4x ... but has more more functions like usb audio,,, than the pa5x cannot do that ..
look at the video and compare the spec to the pa5x ... we might save some money ....
jeremy see
has some video of the Medeli
and it has

Would love to try one but sadly, like Ketron, we won't see them here.

However, it's a bit of a shame that it is a "Yamaha" clone and has inherited some of the limitations of Yamaha's OS (in all its arrangers).

This is insane. Lol. I don't think we ever see all this. They went that route once. There are a small fraction of people who would pay that kind of money for a keyboard ... Especially considering how everything now is going toward a computer...

Running 3rd party plugins natively??? Lol... Why?
