FM Song Queen I want to break Free " Hola Ogawo Mix&

Post by TfmxLtFred »

Hi all

I told you about it in my last post, I'm finalizing my latest music on my Kronos.

A cover of the group QUEEN "I Want to break free"
And as usual all the sounds come from the Kronos.
Set by Voices.

I present to you a version almost identical to the original, at least I tried.
But with my little personal touch

I named it: Hola Ogawo remix

For those who are interested.

FIRST :Send me a message on this post
Then in the second time : I will send you the files of this song by PM.

Below is the link to the MP3

And the programs list :

Looking forward to reading from you

@TfmxLtFred,

I am really impressed. You did it very, very good.
I can't imagine how you did it all things with voices?
I like all, playing, your add (improvisation), arrangement, voices transformations, instrument sounds.
What to say in the end, ......
Bravo!!!

very well done.

I play in a Queen tribute band, and play this song in every show.

For live play, I have 3 combis/programs that I use, all arranged in order in Setlist.

1) for the "reverby pipes organ intro"
2) for the "chomp" intro, which I take out one timbre (the chomp) when the keys come in the chorus.
3) for the lead/solo
then I revert back to #2 for the remainder of the song.

keep up the good work everyone.
Bass and keyboard player, not usually at the same time, but sometimes in the same song!
Boards: Kronos 2, and Hammond SK1
Basses: Fender, G&L

Hello

I just added the link to the list of programs I created for this Song.

The most complicated was to recreate the lead synth of the solo in the middle of the music.
Because basically the sound of the Lead Synth was programmed on a Roland Jupiter 8.
On this synth the low pass analog filter is more resonant.
It is therefore more difficult to reproduce with the filters of the Kronos

I made a good ten before finding the one that suited me best.

See you soon
