So they pushed it back from October , great...
I believe it is for the best , hope i m not wrong....

After the update, can the Pa5X then be used for live performances?

That information was presented by duo_megastar few days ago and now was officially conformed by Korg.

People who had offended duo_megastar, should appologise.

DUO MEGASTAR did not lie. They wanted to help. Now KORG was forced to admit the situation.
Great. So, according to that, it is obvious that there are people here who work for korg or collect information here. If I read correctly, I prefer to quote:

So for Korg, our contributions are VALUABLE. Well, it would be good if they gave us a discount for being their testers.

So let DECEMBER be fast, friends.

It seems that Duo_Megastar had the most accurate information for us, and we should look forward to his input to keep us apprised of future improvements to our beloved KB.

This is great news. My Pa5x is on the way to Perth from Melbourne at the moment. Today I shipped the Pa4x as it’s a trade in deal with a great uncertainty in my mind. This news is a huge relief.

Hopefully we will see included the missing Pads in Factory Folders rectified in this update...

Does this update also include factory resources?
- Operating System version PKG or UPD Full version for download.
I don't see any mention of such an update. How could we do a complete reinstall.

There is no mention cause the resources will be the same so no complete reinstall needed...
It is not a pc/mac to format it and reinstall the operating system..
It is an embedded system that almost never needs that...
Of course they ll release it at some point where the OS will be stable enough for that if issues occur and people need to do it like they have done numerous times in the past...

You even said I don't know how they're going to come up with an update in such a short time! ha ha ha

So you were right! They couldn't!!! A rushed update would've only opened another can of worms.

Korg has never pre announced that they are working on a new OS. This has to be the first time that I know of. I’m glad the message got across to them and I’m pretty sure the number of sales and returns were loud enough for it to be heard. Good job korg users! Our voice was loud and clear.

But...after the december update, can the Pa5X then be used for live performances?

Or will we have to wait for an april update?
