Is there a way to lock 'FX send' settings in the mixer?

Is there a way to lock 'FX send' settings in the mixer?

Post by deepak87 »

When moving through different styles/songs, sometimes I just want to apply a global reverb FX to everything.

I tried setting Global reverb offset to 50, but that does not do much, esp. to songs/styles.

The main FX A controls style and song right, so I set that to Rev: O-verb.
I set that to "Wet" or "50-50".
But that keeps getting changed everytime I change the song.

When making style changes, I can get this setting to stay, but then when I go into "mixer tuning" I see the 'FX send' track values for MFX 1/2 are mostly 0 for almost all the styles, so the reverb does not come through at all.
Then I manually adjust all 8 tracks (16 tracks for song) in 'FX send' to around +20/30, then the reverb comes through nice.
But then if I change the style or song, its all gone again and back to however the original programmed setting was.

The only lock I saw was for upper FX settings, and nothing for song/style FX.
Is there a way to lock these FX settings (some workaround)? like a global control for song/style? or a way to have a particular value that can be set for all tracks in a single shot, instead of inputting the values one by one each time?

It's like I have to micro-control and set these FX settings every-time while casually browsing styles or songs. I see 'copy/paste effects' only on the Main FX menu. But I need it more for the individual track values.
I wish there were a lot more lock settings for Main FX and FX individual track values.

Experienced users, if you know of any workaround, please share.
Many thanks.
