Guidance on importing stereo multisamples

Hello everyone,

The Pa5X now supports stereo multisample. However, from my understanding, the KMP & SF2 format is mono. It seems the only way to produce a stereo multisample is to load individual wav files and then map them into multisamples which is a very time-consuming procedure. Does anyone get a better workflow?

SF2 & KMP have both stereo formats by pairing 2 mono channels to stereo , this has been already applied in Korg Kronos
where -L/-R indexes are detected and treated as one stereo sample , the same happens in Pa5X where 2 sample pairs are
joined only by importing stereo samples manually , but not recognized if imported as any other format like SF2 or
KSC indexer as in Korg Kronos.

The prove is when exporting a manually created stereo multisample , the result is 2 mono KMP files 000.KMP & 001.KMP
of L & R respectively channels and not a solid stereo new KMP format , so the format is actually the same KMP & KSF
mono files paired as in Kronos.

I want to believe that stereo samples handling in Pa5X is still under development since stereo samples do not work properly
under single trigger OSC and will be damaged if compressed , and I hope OS v1.1 will address all those serious issues.

Thanks Antony for addressing the potential issue when compressing stereo multisamples. I found the same issue here. Pa5X will not automatically detect stereo multisamples even a pair of left and right channel kmp files are correctly created for the time being.
