I'm having a difficult time adjusting my vocal audio settings. I have countless hours adjusting the Mic parameters and I just can't make it sound good. I have a Boss VE8 Acoustic Singer that really sounds perfect but I want to ditch it and use the built in vocal processor on the Korg PA4X76.
Can somebody who is happy with the PA4X vocals share their settings like EQ, Comp, Deess, Reverb type, etc...
My mic is a Shure Wireless SM58 into the XLR port of the PA4X.
I seriously need help with this. I spend the weekdays tweaking it and end up plugging the Boss VE8 back in for the weekend shows. It's frustrating.
Super appreciate any help
Thanks!
I need some help with vocal settings PA4X76

Probably not much help here from me but I use a regular SM58 with fabulous results, however my mic output is via 1&2 (not L7R) hence no FX - I just add reverb on the PA4x using the delay/reverb knob - never had a problem and very happy with the results. If recording, I use Logic and may do further editing there. However, my mic output is always from outputs 1&2.

I also use Outputs 1&2 although I only use 1 into my mixer and set the mixer to mono.
I didn't realize there is a limitation on effects using the Outs as opposed the L/R's
