Maybe one of you lcan help me? I wrote over in the Kronos section but no-one has replied yet.
I am fiddling with the a.m. GE and a pad sound
What I am trying to achieve is to always have the same note range for a pad sound, independent of where I am playing the layered piano part. This in itself works generally.
I am having a few issues though and was wondering where I'm doing something wrong:
1) sometimes all notes are being played of the pad sound (and held as they should), sometimes only one. How can this be? I am hitting 3 or 4 notes definitely at the same time, but at times only one note plays.
2) Additionally I wanted to "freeze" the chord in this pad sound and not add further notes while I press the damper, like a sustenuto function (but I need Karma to limit the note/octave range, see below, that's why I can't use a sustenuto pedal).
However this doesn't seem to work: after some time, when the GE is repeated (not note repeats, which is off, but when it "cycles", starts from its beginning), then the pad sound has added notes that I played. See below, am using Note Trigger AKR and I am not letting go all keys, I keep at least one, and still notes are being added after this "cycle".
I tried wth the RTP to lengthen the Duration and Rhythm Multiplier with no real success either.
Following is set:
Force Range C3–B3[1]
Quantize Trigg: off
Note Trigger: AKR, Latch is off
partly tried Dynamic MIDI Source Damper, Momentary, Note/Evn Latch.
Maybe one of you cracks have a pointer in the right direction?
