Took the plunge and ordered PA5X.
Hi,
Took the plunge and ordered a PA5x, hopefully should arrive late this week , early next week. Had to buy without seeing it in real life, but, bought my pa3x/Pa4x same way. The demo’s look good, and hopefully most of the bugs will be sorted with the update.

Hi Bob, what did you go for, 61 76 0r 88 keys? Are you going to continue with your dual manual set-up ?bobb wrote:Well done Rikki
Just as a matter of interest, I ordered mine middle of August and now have an estimated delivery date of mid December….I’m hoping it will come with the new O/S of course….

Bob
ordered mine yesterday morning, shipped in the afternoon, and it may arrive as soon as tomorrow, provided the floods we are experiencing over here at the moment don’t hamper the 200 klm journey. We’re safe where we are, but roads can get cut off by flood water, which might delay it.
Couldn’t believe I managed to get one. I too was told next shipments would be towards end of this year. I could have bought a 76 note version back in August, but I ended up in hospital. Not a good time to buy a new keyboard. Anyway, got an all clear for my health problem on
Friday.
Monday night I was browsing my keyboard suppliers website and I thought I’d check if pa5x’s had gone up in price. Usual blurb click on 61 note , contact us for availability, 76 note, contact us for availability, 88 note, no such message.
Rang first thing in the morning, now it’s on its way.
Wasn’t planning on getting an 88 note version, though it will be ideal. I have my Yamaha sx900 stacked on top of a Kawai es920 piano. Means I will no longer need the piano as my controller, I can use PA5x instead, and I can sell the piano. More than makes up for the the difference in price between the 61 note vs 88 note version. Win, win.
best wishes

Good to here Bob, I recall listening to your combination of the B&O speakers mixed with the Korg PAAS speaker bar and being impressive with the Big Full Sound you where getting, so I don't think you will be disappointed with PA5X overall Fidelity...bobb wrote:Rikki - a Lucky Strike! you did well!
Hi D575 nice to hear from you, I’ve ordered a 61, same as before, which I’m going to use as a stand alone (rather than a 2 keyboard outfit) but still connected to my 2 B & O speakers…
Hope you get your issues sorted with the new OS…
All best
Bobb
You will find a step-up in High Fidelity with the PA5X compared too the PA4X...
Fingers crossed you get your delivery soon.

P.S... Ref to the OS, like many I am exercising huge patients with Korg and have used the time while waiting for them to sort things out and decided to have a rebuild and reconfigure my studio in this time vacuum waiting for Korg (fingers crossed twice)

Hi Bob, what are B&O speakers?
My PA5x arrived this afternoon, couldn’t believe it.
I’ve got my Paas speaker that I bought for my pa3x, but I am considering a pair of powered monitors.
Just not sure what to get.
I think you’ll love your PA5x when it arrives.

About, $1,000 AUD ( $600 to 700 USD) can go higher. Basically straight in front of them , about 10 inches from the wall. Approx
10ft x 12f. 3.5 x 4 metres. It just a spare bedroom in the house that doubles as my music room.
Thank you.

Focal Alpha EVO 65 are worth a listen a little over your budget but for the money very good, these are the new mk2 version so you can get some good deals on the mk1 which exclude EVO in the titlerikkisbears wrote:Hi D575,D575 wrote:
