How to create a specific sound

Post by GreenTelecaster »

Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to the Nautilus and have never owned or played a KORG Synth Worksation before. I can cover most of my needs with typical piano or organ sounds but theres one song which requires a bit more layering and synth stuff.

What I want to achieve is a split and layer sound combo to play this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHTbR51pH-k

(In The Army Now by Status Quo)

From what I hear there are the follwing things:
- main melody sound which might be a layered synth or epiano - not quite sure
- the high synth sound, starting at 00:32
- a string/synth pad
- an organ
- a lead synth at 4:00 where the song fades out. Live version of the song still have a synth melody until the end.

I have the 88 Key Version of the Nautilus so enough space but its hard to find the right sounds or even create them. I wouldnt mind getting or buying ready to play sounds but I guess there are none for this specific song.

Thanks a lot!
