Wavestate editor on Mac with MioXL

Hi all, just bought a Wavestate and I can connect to the editor when USB is going direct to the Mac but not via my MioXL which hasn't presented any issues with other editors previously. I have the Wavestate set to NCM, which shows up in Network settings on the Mac.

Any other users able to make this combo work? If not I'll have to use DIN midi and then just a direct USB for the editor but that would be a waste of ports!
