Use joystick as expression control?

Post by PathosMusic »

Is it possible to assign the joystick down to control expression parameters on the LE?

Expression pedal is CC#04 and Joystick-Y is CC#02. I don't think you can globally remap Joystick-Y to output CC#04.

To control volume using Joystick-Y in a particular combi or program, you could specify JS-Y as the dynamic modulation source in an effect that has a Gain Adjust parameter such as Stereo Limiter. Set Gain Adjust in dB and Src: JS-Y to some positive value according to how much you want the volume to increase as you pull back on the joystick.
