I have a Pa4x OR and I have no worries compared with the standard version. I don't think anything is missing in terms of Styles and Sounds in the standard version, and you get a load of extra OR musical resources that are not present in the standard version. So its better imho.

The OS functionality is identical apart from a new splash screen and copy protection of the OR resources.

Korg PA4x Oriental

Post by tavro »

Grab one if you can.

The Oriental option adds a whole new dimension to the bog-standard Pa4x Many new styles, sounds, and pads. All brilliant whether you are western or middle-eastern inclined in your musical tastes.

Apparently now available for as a PA5X Oriental version

Now: PA5x, PA4x, Roland BK-9, Akai MPC-37; etc
Then: PA1xpro, Radias, Karma, Motif XS88 etc (and many others)
