Backing up Direct Songbook and Set Lists

You can perform a save all and select what you want to save, good practice though is to regularly save all your data on a regular basis.

As long as all the check boxes are selected everything will be save to the backup.set or whatever you call it.

Hi Bernie

I think you are asking about DIRECT set backup - correct?

SAVE-ALL will not backup any DIRECT data.

The DIRECT SET you have assigned is an actual SET already on disk - it will be modified as you change it (STYLES, SONGBOOK etc)
So, to ensure you have a backup you need to COPY your "DIRECT" SET in DISK MODE

It is also good practice to backup the internal data too at the same time using MEDIA>SAVE ALL

DISK MODE>>COPY
Select the DIRECT set you want to copy (backup)
Press "COPY TO"
Select the destination for the copy (i.e. different folder or drive)

You will now have a copy of your DIRECT set (it will have the same name).
