Giving the PA5 until the next update....

Post by pax-eterna.1 »

And if it does not fix the bugs (and faults/bugs labeled as "just the way the new OS is"), add a proper Chord Sequence editing facility, fix the lower auto turn off when starting a chord sequence and a few other "live"playing tweaks (as outlined in other threads) , then it is going. Might move right way from arrangers again and back to the world of workstations, mebbe the new Yammie Montage with Poly AT....

Agreed... I am of the same opinion here, the next update will be "Make or Break" for me also...

@pax-eterna.1, reference to the Montage M8x with Poly-AT, well worth some hands on demo time, pleased with mine, although I'm having trouble running the PA5X with Midi to M8x as a Master keyboard, so a long weekend with manuals to figure out the issues.

Wow so youv'e already had it delivered, thats fantastic !
So tell me is it : Big-Huge-or Gigantically-Obscene ?

Image
Well...if you meant to say, does it have sizeable presence, then yes, it is large in volume and weight, but "Gigantically-Obscene" then ((((NO))))...

Perhaps the wrong choice of words for this forum, I would say. :?

You might be bending the forum rules with that image...

You must be bored, finishing with that assumption...

I am waiting for new genos.
I think many of us are, with or without owning a PA5X...

I am certainly going to give it some serious consideration after the next PA5X update against the arrival of the new Genos...

The scales will swing one way or another, and polyphony will factor high on the list.

I dont understand ?

Montage m8x is only available via Pre-Order Now-Awaiting Stock from Bonners
so i presume that after your long drive there to demo it
they gave you the option to buy the Only one they had there
Which was demoed in their recent youtube video ?
REMOVED
It might be wrong, so I stand corrected, the image could be considered Unauthorised advertising and promoting a business ??

Anyway, for clarity, Bonners provided a first class service for my purchase... New and boxed (not a shop floor demostration model) less than 2 week wait from ordered

And, this evening...4 hrs later, Montage M8x as Master Keyboard, is running PA5X smoothly now, with all the other synths I use, if any anyone is thinking of doing the same and have any Midi issues, please drop me a PM, happy to help :)
