Question on editing styles

Post by jackgorman »

When editing a style, if I rewrite the bass in VAR1, it will play but will stop playing if I hold a minor chord. I've tried setting the chord to 'm' but it had no effect. Any ideas??

When playing Variation1 of your style and chordrecognition will find you hold a "minor chord" it will play that bass that is edited in that track of the chordvariation (CV) of Variation1 assigned key/chord for minor chords.

If bass will stop in case of fingering a minor chord, the bass track of the chordvariation used for minor chords maybe empty (no note events), or velocity of the note events is low, or volume of bass track is low.

PS: Editing a styles variation allows to edit up to six different chordvariations (CV1 .. CV6) separately for each style element (Intros, Ends, Break, Variations). Each chordvariation of style elements allows choosing the Original Key/Chord for its tracks (Baß, Acc1 - Acc5).

If original key/chord for chord recogniton is a minor chord, the bass of the style will be play what is edited in that chordvariation in the bass track.
