Anyone recentlyexperiencing issues with Korg Software Pass?

Post by sjmarano »

Just took advantage of Korg's 50% sale on its Korg Collection series to purchase the Mac version of their M1 VST. But their Software Pass download manager which they required to download and install the software has been either incredibly slow or entirely unresponsive. The program ultimately referred me to a backup method to register and download the plugin via their 'Korg ID website. However, upon installing and running it, it stated that it was the 'Demo' version. And while it presented an option to activate it, that option was entirely unresponsive despite several attempts. What was mystifying was that - while Korg's description of the M1 VST stated it would utilize '2 - 4 GBytes of hard disk storage', the actual downloaded and installed program was only 84 Megabytes. Amazingly, the demo version appeared to be a completely functional version of the entire program (though it operated only for the allotted 20 minutes before deactivating itself)!

So at the moment I'm stuck with a bought-and-paid-for license to the Korg Collection M1 VST that is entirely unusable. I've submitted a request for assistance to Korg's customer support organization and am awaiting a reply.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem to this and was Korg's customer support department able to quickly resolve it for you?

There's a problem with Korg's User Net website at the moment:

Thanks so much for your help! I was thinking (hoping) it would be something like this. Hopefully will be resolved quickly.
