Low resonating note after playing style

Post by c_panos1 »

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with my issue I am facing with my Korg Pa4x.

Recently, I have adjusted the EQ settings via the Global - MAXX MASTER EQ page. I have increased the bass as I realised my user styles were missing the bottom end in the bass and drums and I wanted to accentuate it further to achieve a more realistic sound of a live band.

The issue I am facing, is after I start playing a style, an underlying low frequency sound is sustained, even when I stop the style. It usually stays for quite a while and is still present if I change sounds and play and stop different style. At the moment, the only way to stop it, is to turn off the keyboard and reboot it, in which when I begin to play a style again, the same low frequency sound continues.

Please let me know if anyone has any advice so I can troubleshoot this.

Thanks,
Chris

I remember having a similar problem. It ended up being an issue with the lower sound continuing to sound when I stopped playing. I can't remember exactly what I did but it had to do with the lower sound playing when I'm in full keyboard mode.
