I have been playing the Korg PA 4X since early 2019. I was working on a chord progression this morning, and was getting ready to record some music, when suddenly the style I was using sounded awful. After trying some other styles, I realized that in every style I played, the volume of the bass and drum sounded extreme, as if it were set to maximum. I am talking about internal factory styles. Five minutes before, they had sounded perfectly normal.
I tried restarting the Korg, but the problem is still there. I have played with all the volume controls on the Korg, and on the audio interface. I plugged my headphones directly into the Korg, to make sure that something wasn't happening in the Audio Interface.
I have hardly ever edited a style before, but when I go into Style Edit, all of the Volumes for Bass, Drums and Percussion are set to 100, in every style I checked. I edited a couple of them to be lower and made copies so I could go on working, but I would love to get help to get things back to normal.
Is it possible that I hit some button in the keyboard that did this? It was literally one moment to the next.
Thanks for any help with this.
Volumes suddenly too loud

Are you recording midi and do you have the midi out channels mapped to the keyboard with local control turned on? That's why it's doubling

Well, I am not doing any of that intentionally. Where is the control where that might have been turned on?Aripearlmusic wrote:Are you recording midi and do you have the midi out channels mapped to the keyboard with local control turned on? That's why it's doubling
