How to change the default Global Channel?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to change the Global Channel of the 5X to a different channel number other than the default channel 1?

I can only see 16 channels from the Midi Out page but those are the setup for individual channel and not a Global channel. I want the 5X to send midi messages out to control the Korg Krome where the Krome's global channel is set to channel 8. How do I change the 5X's Global channel to 8?

Settings > Menu > MIDI > MIDI OUT
Touch Channel 8 and scroll, you will have the option to change it to Global

I already did that and it didn’t work. I don’t think you can set the Global channel from that MIDI out page.
