Activation on Multi/Poly Native

Post by avgrafyx »

Hi,

I hope I'm posting in the right section - as this is a software instrument question but I couldn't see anything listed under the software topics. I've recently bought and activated Multi/Poly Native (online), but I've heard it can be activated for offline use via the KORG ID Pass. I prefer to keep my PC offline most of the time, as too much time online generally causes irritating issues with slowdowns and pop-ups.

I can't seem to find out how to move Multi/Poly to offline activation. Nothing in the ID Pass seems to offer that option. Does anyone have any insights, please?

Also - I have had a couple of Legacy Collection software for a long while (M1 and Mono/Poly), which only ever worked when the PC was online, so while I love them, they don't get used often. They seemed to be automatically updated when I activated the Multi/Poly but they still require the PC to be online - does anyone happen to know if those items can also now be activated offline via the KORG ID Pass, please?

Thanks in advance.

First page of the activation process in the KORG Software Pass application tells you:
"Please note: This registration process requires an internet connection. If you wish to authorise the software without being online, please click the Start button while holding down the shift key on your keyboard.".

On the next page, you are presented with a locking code and the following instructions for step 1:
"On a computer connected to the Internet, please go to the url below to do the offline authorization with the locking code and product code you received from the dealer. You will get a license code in an onscreen notification after the process completed. Please note that you need to log into KORG ID."

and for step 2:
"Please enter the license code you received, and click the Authorize to complete."

Hope this helps.
