KORG MPS-10 sampling multipad quantization info

Post by gorgorsan »

Hi! Just wonder if anyone owns new KORG MPS-10 sampling multipad and can let me know if integrated 4 track looper/sequencer also has quantization feature. In the manual there is no info about it but for the latest version update (System Ver.2) it says it has Trigger Reserve function. It says: "The MPS-10 is equipped with the Trigger Reserve function that allows sounds to be produced in sync with the timing of the built-in metronome. If you reserve a trigger by hitting the pad before the metronome's strong beat timing, the pad will be triggered on the next strong beat of the metronome"

So is Trigger Reserve function exactly the same as quantization and so it will correct each and every note played to the nearest rhythmic grid position? Thanks a lot!
