Setlist slot issues

But they didn't respond after more than a week...

The problem involves **voice doubling and incorrect loading of Program and Combi** when using Set List mode. Symptom: flanging sound and signal cancelation because of double voices.

Symptoms:
- When selecting a Set List slot assigned to a Combi or Program (including INIT Combi), **each keypress triggers 2 voices**, even though only a single timbre and single-OSC Program is used.
- The issue occurs in **multiple or all Set List slots**.
- **Polyphony meter confirms** two voices are used per note even though one oscillator on one timbre or track.
- There are **no external MIDI devices** connected MIDI or USB, and all global MIDI settings are default.
- The issue **(sometimes) goes away after switching to Combi or Program mode and back to SETLIST mode**, or after a reboot — but returns unpredictably.

Troubleshooting and testing already done:
- Confirmed that Combis or programs are clean, with only one active timbre and single OSC.
- Issue reproduces even with INIT Combi in Set List mode.
- All unused timbres are set to status OFF.
- I have reset Global settings and tested without any external controllers.
- Checked of RAM is seated properly
- Replaced SSD with a new SSD and reinitialized (a few months ago) but symptoms gradually came back

Additional Notes:
- This issue **did not occur before the latest OS update but gradually (about 6 months) then got more frequent**.
- Combi mode and Program mode **sometimes do not exhibit this problem**.
- This behavior is affecting live performance due to random doubling/cancellation of audio/flanging or totalsilence after selecting a slot in SETLIST mode.

Is this is a known issue? or if an OS patch or an OS rollback is recommended.

I notice there is a previous posting made in 2022, by yourself, which mentioned that Global midi channel MIDI data were being sent out on other MIDI channels. Was that ever resolved satisfactorily, and is the present issue occurring with the same Kronos?

Does the issue still occur if the Kronos is played with only two connections to it, the mains power input cable and headphones, and nothing else?

Has the Kronos been stored in cold and/or humid, or dusty conditions, at any time, or had any drinks spilt on the keyboard, or ever been rained on?

Following the info provided and that there is no external connection that can cause the problem, first thing I would do is connect your unit to a diagnostic software such as MIDI-OX, to see what is happening at the Kronos MIDI out. Then it would give important info to know if there is MIDI feedback, on which channels, etc.

Am far from seeing myself being able to help here, but anyway a few thoughts what I would try:

- you have updated not only the OS but also the Subsystem, which is a different procedure?
- it only happens in Setlist mode, right?
- in Global Mode, switch off Local Control, just to see what happens. No sound should be heard, for example.

Please confirm if your Global basic midi Ch is 1. If set to 2 have the double triggering in Init Combi. Maybe other combis with Karma Timbre Thru.
