There is an editor that you can insert as a plugin in your daw that enables you to edit the X50 like a vst and it saves your settings with the songSkribe1 wrote:If anyone here uses the X50 with a DAW..such as Reason, Ableton Live,or Protools..I am trying to figure out how i should hook it up where i can control the X50 through the sequencers on my programs...any advice would help...Thanks

The X50 should show up in your hosts preferences under midi devices but you my need to make it active so you can select it in tracks.Have you installed the usb driver and editor plugin?Information should be in the manual anyway, have a look in there in case i missed anything;i have a microX but i thik it's the same process for the X50
You can't use for audio with reason,it's self contained. You could use the X50 to play Reasons instruments but thats about it.
