What file formats can I playback using a CD?

We have been getting so frustrated at practice because our band leader brings in CDs and wants to play them on the Triton to help us learn new music but the songs never play. Can someone point me to a document that will walk me through this? When I read through the 144 page manual on the Korg site I keep ending up at playback using the Jukebox function and they are referring to SMF data (midi files?). Help!
