Triton and a MPC 1000?

Triton and a MPC 1000?
Ok I need to know how to get my mpc to play through a track on the triton. I cant figure it out. I tried looking it up on other sites and I was lost. Can anyone help me out?
You connect the midi out from your MPC to the In on the Triton.
After that, all the problems are with the MPC, not the Triton. A default song on the Triton is set to received data on all 16 midi channels.
So really, this is not a KORG question, it's an AKAI one.
