Connect scsi zip drive to pc!.!...
So another scsi question... So, hello everybody! I got a Iomega zip drive (100 megabytes) on ebay, works great and now I want to know how I can connect it to my pc so I can backup and put files on it! Here is a picture of the zip drive: http://cgi.ebay.ca/EXT-SCSI-ZIP-DRIVE-1 ... dZViewItem
(go look at the image at the end). Last thing, this drive has a LPT1 (for a printer) plug but my computer doesn't.
Thanks everybody again, Andrew

Nope that wouldn't work as its RS-232 rather than SCSI. The easiest way would probably to buy a usb zip drive, or get somehing like this

triton_951 - you may want to check the following topic as well. Using flash media is faster, offers more space and should be more reliable than zip drives

It looks perfect but the product is in Europe... and I live in Canada. What do you guys think about it???

Nope that wont work. The "Port Parallele" is he clue here. The Triton uses the same connector for SCSI, but it wont work.
You could buy something like this, then buy a case/enclosure to mount it in a supply power:

Or just bite the bullet and buy from
