Need some help please

Post by yes9003 »

I have a problem with my pitch bend (joystick). All of the functions of the keyboard work perfectly except for the joystick. Tha only thing that i get from it is when i pull it up it sustains the sounds, but nothing to right, left or down. I reinstalled the OS with intro button, and resources a couple of times already, but the problem still persists. Tha joustick itself i feel the spring action, it is centered. Please if someone can help. Thank you

Firstly confirm that the problem exists for other SOUNDS - just in case it is a setting for a particular SOUND. There have been a few owners with joystick problems - I think it is quite easy to replace. Your problem does sound like it is a faulty joystick. Talk to your local Korg Service centre and they should be able to assist and give you costs etc (or warranty information).

Good luck - I am sure you will get it fixed..

Cheers

Hi yes9003
This does sound like a joystick problem and if it's any help I recently changed the joystick on my Pa1xpro myself. The part from Korg UK cost £15 and the job itself is very easy.
Good luck

Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated. I actually purchased my keyboard july of last year and the box had and extension of warranty on the box if i registered with Korg, so I did. I will contact them this week, thanks again.
