Zero 8 and Leopard?
Recently, i consider to bring the Zero 8 to my home. Does anyone using it with the Leopard? Are they compatible?

Hey folks... I'm new here
I just purchased my new Zero 8 this weekend and luckily the shop said that I could test it out first, as I was extremely worried about all the problems this unit is well known for...
To my surprise and HUGE relief, this particular unit (so far) has non of the issues many of the other unfortunate 'Zero8' owners seem to have, infact to be honest, for a so called DJ mixer it is actually remarkably quite. (I have owned several Pro Mixing desks, Amek, Allen & Heath as well as A&H DJ mixer + DJM600 etc so feel I have the right to comment:-) )
I really don't mean to rub it in to those that have problems (I really do feel for you and believe it is Korg's responsibility to stand by their product and sort every case out individually... ASAP!!).
I have to say though that so far, this thing is shining in full glory with 5 Stars!!! ***** I really am absolutely over the moon with my purchase. As far as flexibility goes, this thing is astounding! I am using this for both my DJing and Production work in Logic Pro and just getting into Ableton (hoping to find more info out on setting up in Logic as time goes on, but unfortunately, there is quite a lack of info around.. I'm guessing due to all the problems these have been having!).
Anyway, I am using with Mac OSX Leopard and so far, no problems whatsoever....
I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed and hoping all stays positive and will keep you informed of any problems/Positives:-)
M.
(Ps... For those interested my setup consists of Apple Macbook Pro/OSX Leopard/Zero8/TC Powercore Firewire (plugged into Zero8's firewire port/Lacie FW800HD (into MBP)/JV1080 (x 6ins into Zero8)2 x CDJ800MK2's /2 x Technics 1200s/KorgK61Midi keyboard)
All (**touch wood**) working seamlessly at the moment!!:-)

@Moscomusic
Did you use the Zero8 with mixed audio and midi channels in one Ableton project (or Logic...)?
I use 2 channels in Ableton with audio loops.
Channel 1 -> EXT Out 1/2
Channel 2 -> EXT Out 3/4
and a send fx in Ableton.
When I turn on the zero send fx in a midi channel (channel 1) to control a send fx into Ableton and on channel (channel 2) as a audio channel, I here the Zero8 fx on both channels.
But channel 1 is a midi channel and I don't want the internal Zero 8 send fx on this channel.
Did you have this problem on yours?

again, i question everyone who says the mixer is remarkably quiet. i think its impossible.
heres a question-
1. what are you monitoring through?
2. how loud are your monitors set?
if your monitors are set low, and you run the mixer hot, its pretty good.
anything otherwise its got a ton of hiss, all of them.
