Good Quality Afghan Sets

Salam doost e aziz:

This is Fahim again. I have to be honest and you are right there is no such good SET for Afghani music. As you know most of us use a certain beat instead of style for playing a song. For example one GEDA or DADRA for certain songs and not thinking of making a style for that particular song and this is the easy and lazy way out. All other musicians beside Afghans have made styles for each of their favorite songs. For example I wish I had a styles for each songs of Ahmad Zahir. That will be the best thing ever happen to my music life but I think I must be in the dream land. I am looking forward to learn how to make styles for each song that I play and replace the current SONGBOOK of our Pa800 with AFGHANI SONGBOOK. That is my main goal for the future.

Best Regards,

Fahim, :D

Salam dostane aziz,

If i am to pay 2200 dollar for a set of nice styles for my pa800, that means, i am a professional musician, and i have to earn 5000 with those styles. As for as amateurism is concerned, i dont keep my hobby that expensive. If this is the real price for afghan styles on the market, then my pa800 is for sell on this forum...lollll

Salam Sharam jan:

Thanks for mentioning my name. I do agree with you %100. There is no standard system or way in the Afghan music world that some one could follow to make our own styles. But one of these days we will make good Afghani styles INSHALLAH and I might not be alive... just kidding... Anyway, congratulations on your new Pa2X and love to see you help built a system to help everyone make a good style. We all must continue our support and help. Life is too short and one must enjoy it in the fullest possible. Be in tocuh and take care.

Best Regards,

Your brother,

Fahim, :D

I can offer a little help in here...i am not too much into Indian and Afghani
music but i still know certain things. Since you guys always say there is no
suc good set and i know that every set you download has 2 things in it and
thats all about it, everything else is a mess.
I can offer to help you with a donation, if few of you gather and agree to pay,
get few Aghani-Indian Sets, check all of them out, wrtie down which styles
and sounds you want in ONE SINGLE SET which will be perfectly set and mixed
where everything thats there will be WORKING and organized and all mixed
at same levels, styles and sounds and performance...write all of the down and
what file in which set resists...send me all of the sets and the TXT file with
the info on the sounds and styles and i'll work on it.
Before that take into consideration that that might need few full weeks of
work, it will be easier for everyone to pay for that, i mean more people
with paying less money. After that you guys make a list who paid for that,
i send the SET to one person and he sends it to whoever he wants as long
as i get paid for my work. This is only a suggestion and i dont think anything
is wrong with it as long as i am happy and you are happy with the set.
To offer help for free i cant, thats over 10-14 probably full days of work.

...& that is a great idea Nedim... I am volanteer No. 1 [PROVIDED top professionals and/or those/seniors who answer the queries regularly are involved (i don’t want to name any)]- I want to be in the group - let the group decide what all should be there in the Afghani – Indian set(s) - all I can say is I have faith in You & your technicality Nedim and trust in the group that would probably be formed - whatever they conceive & decide would be the best as it is coming out from the professionals ....

How much are u going to charge for one such set Nedim?

(You quote ur charges Nedim.... we'll place the decimal... ... just joking dear... :D :D :D )....

Regards
