Anyone know which of the 444 factory Multisamples have not been used in factory Sounds? Do you have a list you could email to me?
Best regards,
Rob

G'day Rob,
Im not a gambling man but I think its a sure bet that all the multisamples are being used already in factory sounds. Many sounds use more than one multisample (eg Nylon Guitar Pro 1 uses Nylon Guitar ff, Nylon Guitar mf, Folk Guitar and A. Guitar Noise).
You probably already know this but one way to listen to all the different multisamples is this:
Go to sound mode, select Acoustic Piano GM, Menu, Basic, Osc Basic Tab, Touch/Highlight the number 0 below the word High. You can now rotate the Tempo/Value dial to any Multisample and listen to it.
If you have an Expansion Board or Ram Multisamples you can also scroll through these by touching the word ROM next to High and choosing Ram or EXB1 or EXB2 first.
Best regards,
John

Hi John,
Thanks for your help and also for the last piano set that you released and which (at last) I have now started using. I've been a bit tied up with video editing work for the last 8 weeks as I expect you know.
What I would like is a spreadsheet that maps each of the factory sounds to the corresponding multisample(s)used, together with the CC00, CC32, PC and Multisample index numbers from the appendix in the manual. In effect I want to link the two data tables together so that I can sort and index the items so I am sure what the relationships are before I go modifying any of the factory Sounds.
Betcha there are some Multisamples not used
Thank you in advance to you or anyone who has done this and who is prepared to send me a copy of your spreadsheet. I am starting to think about the next project
Best regards,
Rob
