Post by Jay11411 »

Do you need to buy Ram for the Tr in order to load your samples from the SD card?

Well, if its not for real, 32M sticks are about $10 each. For $20, I'd settle for new and not take a chance on an unknown.

Well, you can verify SIMMs yourself one time you receive from the kind ly Asena shipment.
On the KORG site FAQ section for TR, you can find exactly how the SIMMs should look like.

Maybe a silly question but I gotta ask - can I use samples with the RAM sticks but without the Expansion board ?

(I dont need to play with sampling just playing commercial or free samples)

TIA

Of course you can, you don't need the sampling platine to install RAM...
