USB drive plugged in -> error at system boot

USB drive plugged in -> error at system boot

Hi,

I have an 80GB USB2 drive from Lacie. This drive is USB powered.
The drive was formatted by the M3 and it's always usable without any problem.
But if I have the drive connected at boot time the M3 is not booting correctly there is an error message "System error".
What's wrong with my drive?
