Does anyone have any "sound recipes"?

Post by JVK »

Like, as in, does anyone have the formulas for cool sounds they have made? The Korg LE is SERIOUSLY lacking in industrial sounds. Most of the synth type sounds are lame 80s or gay club type leads, and I'm looking for more punchy, high-tech stuff like you'd find in Funker Vogt or FLA. If someone has a link to stuff like this I'd be forever grateful!

Here are two suggestions:

Look at www.kidnepro.com/ They have several sets of fairly inexpensive patches that are good leaping-off points. There's no industrial set as there was for the 01W, but they still have merit. You can get them as pcg. files, dump them onto a $20 card reader and plug them right in.

This is an outstanding, simple plug-in that's an FLA lover's dream. Its $140 for the base synth and an additional $40 for 3 soundpacks, with a cut on a package buy. Its not ideal relative to the Korg alone, but imagine the two together. Boom!
