Arpeggiator troubles - the lost sound

Post by chopchoponionhead »

Hello

The other day I made a arpeggiating sound (on the MicroKorg) that I was happy with on the B54 patch. Unfortunatley I turned it off without saving and know I can't find it anywhere.

It had a dirty nintendo-ish transending quality to it that ranged octaves - just by pressing one note. Now all I can get is sort of 'plink plonk' annoying arppegio.

I remember playing with the cutoff & resonance and the Amp EG settings and then set the arpeggiator to 120bpm with a 1/16 or 1/24 timing and At2. I think I put distortion on and maybe changed the voice to layer but its the appegiator thats annoying me. Even putting the range up to four isn't doing it.

I guess in short I kind of want the arpeggiator set so that when I press one note it acts like I'm pressing a chord.

Can anyone help? Sorry for this long description.

Thanks
