"Transmit Scene Data Failed" error

okay so i switched over to the padkontrol after having a hell of a time with the akai mpd24. i must say i like this 10 times better. well just the look of it so far. haha

im using reason 4.0 and i got reason to see the padkontrol. no problem there. but when i go to use the redrum scene that came in the disc that came with my padkontrol, i come up with the error:

Transmit scene data failed: MIDI device is not specified.

ive been looking all over for the solution but no luck.

how can i fix this?

I think that you might get that error if you didn't set up the ports in the editor. You didn't specify pc or mac and the ports are different in each. Check out the ReadMe file that comes with the editor.
