Can somebody please tell me why

I do everything correctly and nothing works? Ok. I have my MIDI in as padKontrol Port A and out as padKontrol CTRL. I followed a youtube video to the dot to bring in the ReDrum sample, hit transmit current scene data, and whern i went back to reason adapted, all i heard was the stupid piano. SOmebody please helo :x
