Triton Extreme drum kits

Post by bpm938 »

I've been playing with my TE's drums and their arpeggiators. They're all great but the one thing that bugs me is there's no way that I can see to engage things like drum fills, hits, crashes, etc like a live drummer would do. All I can do a looped drum beat. I'm trying to find ways to create different expressions with the drums mainly for a live performance setting.

i know the Korg i30 has nice interfaces for things like that such as buttons for Intros, fill1, fill2, Ending, etc. Is there something like that on the TE or am I looking for the wrong thing here?

The Triton has some preset drum patterns. They are repetitive.
For fills, you may want to consider using the RPPR to create your own.

Aren't you only able to use RPPR in sequencer mode?
