TOUCH SENSITIVITY

I have an 88 key extreme and when using drum kits it seems certain keys contain a different version of the sound > I have adjusted the sensitivity and it still occurs? Anyone have the answer as to using the keys like the full level function on the mpc's? It would be extremely appreciated!!
