micro x and midi

HI i am a new user to micro x and found connecting to a external keyboard tyros stiill had the same limited keyboard range as the micro x
i have not as yet solved this problem and would like to hear if any one has any idea of the settings to make in the midi setup that will solve this the tyros has twin midi connections thanks all

I have no idea what your problem may be, no such limitation should apply.
