tweaking knowledge base about sampling

Post by BREADWINNAZ »

i htought i knew how to rip/sample sounds from a cd.
1) hit menu, sampling tab
2) select track and time settings
3) execute and
wah lah . . . the 30 seconds of sound from the cd is now IN the keyboard

i edit the sample, and convert ms to program, with a memorable name, saving it in Bank E and wah lah . . . the edited piece is present. i can select that sound in SEQ. mode and drop it into the song any way i want to

BUT

even after saving the song, when i power off and back on - the sample is gone - the "steps" are stored, but the sound is gone.

AND

every "new" sample replaces the previous sample . .

any help with this is greatly appreciated!

your problem is that you arent saving samp data... samp data is lost and has to be reloaded everytime you shut it off...while when you write the program it is saved to permanet memory...u have to save your sample data when you save your progrms so you will be able to load the ksc files with the programs think that should cure your problems

sorry no one has taken intrest in your prroblem for so long hope everything is going swell for you
