My band sings at the World Greatest Rodeo

Post by Stephen »

We were honored to be asked to sing our National Anthem at the Civic Center here, when the Rodeo came to town.
There's a picture of us on the Big Screen, with Darren pretty much obscured, but I thought I'd share this.

Thanks all, when you get to my age, little things like that become more significant.
We got to meet real cowboys, and cowgirls, and watch from the press box free.
We had a great time.

way to go!!!
When I was in Texas I watched to a rodeo and even if usually I don't like people ill-treating animals, I have to admit that it was a lot of fun!

Very nice sounding arrangment!
Who did wrote that?

BTW 5 great voices, beautiful female voice and good deep bass, american choirs have a fasinating sounds, which european ears are not used to!

Thanks guys.
Diego, the arrangement was done by our lead guitarist Steven Meister, who I admire very much.
35 years ago I gave him guitar lessons, and now he is much faster, and more proficient than I am.
He makes me very proud, you should hear him when he gets really hot!
Quite impressive, and has almost a perfect musical ear also.
I'll pass along the kudos.
Thanks.
